Natallia: Linda, what do you do for your clients?
Linda: So I'm a mortgage broker, so I've got access to over 30 different lenders and access to hundreds of different products across those lenders.
Natallia: You work with a lot of clients, so how do they actually benefit from working with you?
Linda: So the benefit for the customer is that they get access to all my expertise and my knowledge, so knowing all these different products and everything that's available, I can help them navigate that and find a product that is suitable for them, get them the best interest rate available depending on their needs. And then I can help them get the process streamlined and the application approved as quickly as possible.
Natallia: Great. But some people like to do it online, they like to do it themselves, so what do you think they forget, or maybe what kind of mistakes they make when they do it online themselves?
Linda: So I think the biggest mistake has probably been rate driven. So they see the best rate advertised, but it may not be the best product for them. There may be hidden fees and charges that they're not aware of, it's in the fine print. They don't know that banks policy, so it may be a lot stricter on policy, their employment may not fit that policy. So there's so many different things that may not fit that policy or that rate, that product, so I can help them navigate that and work out what the best product is depending on their needs and that will actually fit that criteria.
Natallia: And what's the most common outcome that consumers are trying to achieve when they engage your services?
Linda: Yeah, so I'd say the biggest outcome, or the main outcome they're trying to achieve is to save time. I mean, banks, coming back and forth, asking all the questions, I can save them that time in delving into that for the customer. I can deal with the lender in the bank and get that process going through a lot more streamlined and a lot quicker for the client.
Natallia: That's great. Thank you so much for your help.
Linda: Thank you.
